OBJECTIVE | Community Engagement

Tasked with revitalizing the communal atmosphere of Sun Tin Wai Shopping Centre, I spearheaded the "Inclusive Living" Community Mural Project. This initiative aimed to transform a 12-meter corridor into a vibrant landmark that fosters intergenerational connection and local pride.

My role spanned the entire project lifecycle, from initial conceptualization and stakeholder coordination—linking local churches, schools, and the artist team—to executing a comprehensive marketing strategy for participant enrollment. The mural features a fusion of cultural symbols, including the iconic Che Kung Temple windmill and the celebration of Hong Kong’s new panda cubs, symbolizing harmony and vitality. By bringing together over 50 students and elderly residents, the project successfully transitioned a static space into a dynamic social hub.
