OBJECTIVE | Community Engagement, Brand Reputation
On behalf of Sunlink Hong Kong, I spearheaded the planning and execution of a signature 4-month district-wide community sports program: the Sha Tin District Inter-Primary School Basketball Tournament, culminating in an Intergenerational Health Fun Day. This initiative was a strategic collaboration with the Hong Kong Lutheran Social Service (HKLSS) and Smart Science Sport & Rehabilitation Services Centre, designed to cement Sun Tin Wai’s reputation as an intergenerational sports and wellness hub.
The project involved managing over 10 primary schools and nearly 200 student-athletes, requiring rigorous logistical coordination and long-term engagement. The grand finale was elevated by a high-level award ceremony attended by esteemed guests, including the District Officer (Sha Tin), JP. Beyond the competition, I integrated a "Health Fun Day" featuring sport-tech booths and health assessments, successfully bridging the gap between youth athletic development and elderly wellness. This holistic approach demonstrated my capability in managing complex, multi-stakeholder programs that deliver measurable social value and brand prestige.
